Winners, operating 191 stores in Canada at 2007’s year-end, is the leading off-price retailer in that country, having been acquired by TJX in 1990. Patterned after T.J. Maxx, Winners stores feature off-price designer and brand name women’s apparel, family footwear, fine jewelry, children’s apparel, lingerie, accessories, home fashions, and menswear. Winners stores average approximately 29,000 square feet in size. We expect to net nine additional Winners stores in 2008.
