HomeSense, part of TJX Canada, introduced the off-price home fashions concept to Canada with its launch in 2001.
HomeSense offers customers a wide and rapidly changing selection of off-price home fashions, including giftware, home basics, accent furniture, lamps, accessories, and wall décor, as well as items for the kitchen, dining room and bedroom.
This chain operates in a standalone and superstore format, which pairs HomeSense with Winners.
At year-end 2011, HomeSense operated 86 stores with a typical standalone store size of approximately 25,000 square feet. We believe that HomeSense continues to have room to grow in Canada and that the Canadian market could support 90 HomeSense stores.
