In 2011, TJX continued supporting our major, multi-year pledge and global partnership with the Alzheimer’s Association, by launching an internal Alzheimer’s education program for Associates worldwide.
The TJX Foundation’s primary mission is to contribute to programs that provide basic-need services to disadvantaged women, children and families in communities in which we do business. In 2011, The TJX Foundation funded over 1,500 nonprofit organizations. On a global basis, over 2,100 nonprofit organizations received support from TJX and the TJX Foundation.
Through our regional targeting program, we make a concerted effort to invite Associates in our stores, offices and distribution centers to recommend organizations in their communities to receive charitable grants.
Our Associates volunteer their time and talent in a number of meaningful ways, including fundraising, mentoring and lending their leadership as directors on nonprofit boards.
Nonprofit 501(c)(3) organizations seeking to apply for programmatic funding from The TJX Foundation should follow these steps:

Only complete applications will be reviewed by The TJX Foundation Allocation Committee.
You will be contacted by mail approximately four weeks after an Allocation Meeting with our Committee's decision with regard to your funding request.
