Certification Requirements for Minority- and Women-owned Businesses
To participate in our Supplier Diversity Program, The TJX Companies, Inc. requires that your company be certified as a minority- or women-owned business. We accept certification from the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) and the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).
- If you are a minority- or women-owned supplier certified by the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) or the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), please proceed to Supplier Registration, where you will find our registration checklist and form.
- If you are a minority-owned supplier and not certified by NMSDC and your business is based in the U.S., please go to www.nmsdcus.org for information on how to become certified.
- If you are a women-owned supplier and not certified by WBENC and your business is based in the U.S., please go to www.wbenc.org for information on how to become certified.
Minimum Requirements for Suppliers
We have a corporate objective to provide great value to our customers. To that end, our suppliers must have a clear understanding of our business requirements, including:
- Financial stability
- Proven history of successful projects
- Understanding of TJX's business and practices
- Ability to provide high-quality, cost-competitive products and services
- Acting in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations, in addition to maintaining the highest standards of business ethics
