Fostering Diversity:

In the U.S., TJX supports five, chartered Associate Resource Groups which offer our widely diverse Associates networking opportunities, career development support, and business education forums.

TJX has scored 100 on the Corporate Equality Index of the Human Rights Campaign in each of the past four years. We include "gender identity and expression" in our nondiscrimination policy and broadly offer same-sex domestic partner benefits to Associates. In 2011, we also added transgender-inclusive benefits.

Lifelong Learners:

A number of our training courses reflect our belief that diversity makes TJX stronger and better. Course titles in North America include "Managing the Multigenerational Workforce," "A Winning Balance," and "Transnational Leadership." TJX has also embedded diversity and our belief in the importance of leveraging differences into training programs across our international organizations.

Our merchant organization, which numbers over 700 people, travels globally and sources from more than 15,000 vendors in over 60 countries.
