At TJX, we believe every Associate contributes to our collective culture – bringing a diversity of gender, ethnicity, age, sexual orientation, and race as well as a range of talents, experiences, skills, viewpoints, education, and more to our organization. We want every Associate to feel welcomed in our Company, valued for their contributions, and engaged with our business mission.
That's why we are proud to announce that we once again scored 100 on the Human Rights Campaign’s (HRC) Corporate Equality Index, which includes listing TJX as one of the Best Places to Work for LGBTQ Equality. This marks nine out of the past 10 years that we've scored 100!
“TJX is pleased to again score 100% on the 2018 Corporate Equality Index. We foster a company culture where every Associate is welcomed, valued, and engaged by encouraging them to bring their whole self to work. This recognition underscores our dedication to building relationships that are core to our business, and to who we are,” said Amy Fardella, Executive Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer.
The HRC represents more than 1.5 million members and supporters across the U.S. TJX has participated in the HRC's Corporate Equality Index survey for many years, and we use the survey to benchmark our practices against best practices related to policies, benefits, and inclusivity for the LGBTQ community.
“We foster a company culture where every Associate is welcomed, valued, and engaged by encouraging them to bring their whole self to work.”
