What is the Corporate Equality Index?


The CEI is a national benchmarking tool on corporate policies and practices related to LGBTQ employees and guides companies on assessing how their existing policy and benefits infrastructure is inclusive of the LGBTQ workforce and their families.


Corporate Equality Index Scoring


The CEI criteria are revised periodically to align with the Human Rights Campaign's goal of driving improvement. TJX's score of 90% this year reflects some changes in questions on employee benefits. Overall, in the past 11 years, TJX has scored 100% on the Corporate Equality Index (CEI) nine times, earning the coveted "Best Places to Work for LGBTQ Equality" trademark. We are very proud of our results and periodically review our policies and practices against the CEI.

TJX is also a proud corporate sponsor of the Human Rights Campaign Foundation.

TJX's PRIDE Associate Resource Group participates in completion of the survey each year and actively advocates for continuous LGBTQ equality.
